Now in its 18th year, the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival presents a weeklong schedule of music and educational events, drawing over 50,000 people to join Festival Artistic Director Linda Ronstadt in her annual celebration of Mexico's culture, art and especially, music.

And Linda has pulled out the stops this year. Hear the legends of Latin folk, tradicional and rock music -- Joan Baez, Carlos Santana, Los Lobos, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, Aida Cuevas, Little Joe y La Familia , Mariachi Cobre and many more, including a surprise guest or two ... This year’s San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival was conceived by Artistic Director Linda Ronstadt as a tribute to the Heroes of our Heritage, and especially to the legacy of San José’s hometown hero, Cesar Chavez.
